The season finale for Jackson State first-year head coach Deion Sanders won’t occur after the Jackson State soccer program introduced that Saturday’s sport versus Prairie View has been canceled due to COVID-19 points impacting the Tigers.
“As a result of COVID-19 protocols and make contact with tracing inside the Jackson State soccer program Saturday’s soccer sport versus Prairie View A&M is canceled and won’t be made up,” JSU acknowledged in a information launch Tuesday.
The cancelation marks the tenth SWAC sport this spring to be impacted by COVID-19.
