Jokic took a wild swing on the Suns’ Cameron Payne, hitting Payne throughout the face as he made a tough swipe to knock the ball unfastened. The foul got here after Jokic didn’t get a name on a one-handed runner, as he briefly glanced over at a referee and gestured.

Suns star Devin Booker instantly confronted Jokic, because the groups briefly scuffled earlier than being separated.

After he was ejected, Jokic appeared to apologize to Payne.
