Taylor Swift has once more cracked open her musical vault for a shock launch.
The singer dropped “Mr. Completely Tremendous,” a tune she wrote again in 2008 that can seem as one of many never-before-released From the Vault tracks on her upcoming rerecorded model of Fearless.
In a tweet Wednesday, Taylor referenced how the tune exhibits simply how a lot her music has modified over time.
“Me in 2020: life is chill, writing songs based mostly in fiction to keep away from drama, feeling fairly grown up,” she wrote. “My 2008 music from the vault, in a goblin voice: ‘REELEEEEEEASE MR PERFECTLY FIIIIIIINE.’”
On the monitor, Taylor sings a couple of self-absorbed ex who has moved on with somebody new. “Hi there, Mr. Casually Merciless / Mr. All the pieces Revolves Round You / I’ve been Miss Distress since your goodbye / And your Mr. Completely Tremendous,” she sings.
“Mr. Completely Tremendous” is the second From the Vault monitor Taylor’s previewed, following “You All Over Me,” that includes Maren Morris.
Fearless (Taylor’s Model) comes out on Friday.
