ATLANTA, Ga. – Morehouse School launched its 2023 soccer schedule Thursday, highlighted by one basic sport, in addition to 4 dwelling video games at B.T. Harvey Stadium.
Underneath the route of Wealthy Freeman, who enters his 14th season as head coach of the Maroon Tigers program this fall, Morehouse kicks off its 2023 soccer season with consecutive street video games towards Gulf South Convention foes the College of West Alabama on Sept. 4 in Livingston, Ala. The sport will mark the primary assembly between the 2 establishments.
The Maroon Tigers then journey up the street to Carrollton to tackle the College of West Georgia on Sept. 11. UWG leads the general collection 2-1, with the groups’ final assembly in 1983, an MHC 13-10 victory.
Morehouse opens up its dwelling slate when the Tigers tackle Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Convention (SIAC) defending champion, Miles School, in a non-conference match-up on Sept. 18. The Maroon Tigers have received six of the final 10 conferences and maintain a 26-18 benefit within the general collection.

The next week MHC travels to Savannah, Ga. to open up SIAC play on Sept. 25, as they tackle Savannah State College. SSU received a hard-fought sport in 2019, 17-10 in Atlanta.
Morehouse returns to the pleasant confines of B.T. Harvey Stadium to tackle Edward Waters School on Oct. 3. The Maroon Tigers defeated EWC in 2019, 26-20, and lead the general collection, 8-1.
Morehouse travels west on I-20 to sq. off towards Tuskegee College within the Morehouse-Tuskegee Soccer Traditional in Birmingham, Ala. on Oct. 9 at Legion Subject. In there final assembly the Maroon Tigers fell to the Golden Tigers 21-10 in Columbus, Ga.
Following the TU contest, Morehouse returns dwelling for homecoming on Oct. 16, as they welcome Fort Valley State College. In 2019 MHC fell on the street, 37-21. FVSU leads the general collection 34-12.
The subsequent week the Maroon Tigers journey to Columbia, S.C. on Oct. 23 to do battle with Benedict School. MHC leads the general collection over the Tigers 18-9-4.
The next week Morehouse welcomes the defending SIAC japanese division champion Albany State College for Senior Day on Oct. 30. The Golden Rams beat Morehouse 21-15 of their final assembly. ASU leads the general collection 31-8 and have received the final 11 contest.
Morehouse wraps up the common season on Nov. 6 as they head throughout the yard to tackle AUC rival, Clark Atlanta College. In 2019 the Maroon Tigers beat the Panthers in an exciting 40-39 win at B. T. Harvey Stadium. MHC comes into the sport main the all-time collection 49-48-2.
