The favored tv sequence Iyanla: Repair My Life is coming to an finish, as host Iyanla Vanzant shared with HollywoodLife, she is aware of it’s time to say goodbye. 

“I didn’t make the choice. I used to be guided spiritually. It’s time to go. I stated, ‘OK,” she says. “I feel mentally and emotionally I used to be feeling drained. I don’t wish to do that anymore. I didn’t actually have a purpose, per se. I simply didn’t wish to do it anymore. After which I prayed about it and tapped into it.”

Iyanla: Repair My Life partnered with the Oprah Winfrey Community (OWN) in 2012 because the unscripted sequence adopted celebrities, estranged kin, broken households, and damaged folks in determined want of steerage to attempt to break by way of their points.

“Forcing your self to remain in one thing after you’re full with it’s exhausting,” the New York Instances bestselling creator says. “We do this in marriages, in jobs, in conditions. And so I used to be exhausted as a result of my objective had been accomplished and it was taking a variety of effort to remain.”

The sequence finale kicks off on Saturday (April 10) with the return of actress LisaRaye McCoy who tries to deal with the childhood trauma that she continues to be coping with as we speak. 

Vanzant says she has at all times urged folks to “learn to converse the reality, hear the reality, settle for the reality,” and says that it “brings us better consciousness of how we affect one another.”
