‘Chicka Chicka Boom Boom’ illustrator Lois Ehlert dies at 86

Lois Ehlert, whose cut-and-paste shapes and vibrant hues in books together with “Chicka Chicka Growth Growth” put her among the many hottest illustrators of books for preschoolers of the late twentieth century, has died.
