CLEVELAND COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) – Authorities say a tip led deputies to a reported cockfighting ring in rural Cleveland County.

Shortly after 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 18, deputies with the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Workplace responded to the realm of twenty sixth B St. in Noble.

When deputies arrived, they noticed a number of folks fleeing the scene together with roosters and different objects related to cockfighting.

In all, deputies seized 34 roosters and a considerable amount of cockfighting paraphernalia.

“We’re actively investigating a attainable cockfighting ring,” Cleveland County Sheriff Chris Amason mentioned. “Quite a few actions together with unlawful playing, medicine and even human trafficking have been related to this blood sport over time, and it’s unlawful in all 50 states.”
