Oklahoma House of Reps passes ‘Second Amendment Sanctuary State Act’ as pro-gun rally held at State Capitol

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Second Modification supporters held a rally on the Oklahoma State Capitol on Tuesday because the Sooner State strikes one other step nearer to changing into what’s known as a “second modification sanctuary.”

The Oklahoma Home of Representatives handed Senate Invoice 631, the ‘Second Modification Sanctuary State Act’, on Tuesday.

That laws states that any order demanding the confiscation, buyback or give up of firearms infringes upon Oklahomans’ Second Modification rights.

These at Tuesday’s rally say their liberty is being infringed upon after President Joe Biden introduced a crackdown on weapons, issuing six govt orders geared toward curbing what he calls an epidemic following a number of current mass shootings.

“There’s lots of language, lots of liberty individuals are involved concerning the federal authorities squeezing issues down, and we’re right here to let our legislators know we assist them and we wish them to guard us,” stated Don Spencer, president of the Oklahoma Second Modification Affiliation.

SB 631 now heads to Gov. Kevin Stitt’s desk.
