VERNON, Texas (KFOR) – A succession of tornadoes touched down close to Vernon, Texas, Friday night.
KFOR Chief Meteorologist Mike Morgan mentioned 4 tornadoes have touched down close to Vernon.
Three of these tornadoes had been west-southwest of Vernon. The fourth was southeast of Vernon.
Brian Winslow, a 4Warn Storm Tracker, was not removed from the primary three tornadoes as they touched down.
“That is turning extraordinarily harmful extraordinarily rapidly. This doesn’t appear to be it may go away. Folks in Vernon have to take cowl now,” Brian mentioned.
The primary tornadoes had been inside a number of of miles of Vernon, simply throughout the Pink River.
Mike mentioned the primary of the preliminary three tornadoes was a rope twister, adopted by a cone form/barrel form twister after which one other cone form twister.
