OHP: Tire blowout causes deadly crash in Logan County

LOGAN COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) – Troopers with the Oklahoma Freeway Patrol are investigating a lethal crash in Logan County.

Round 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, emergency crews had been known as to an accident on Hwy 74, simply west of Guthrie in Logan County.

Investigators say a 1991 Chevy Silverado was heading northbound on Hwy 74 when its entrance tire blew out, inflicting the driving force to lose management and go left of middle.

In consequence, the truck hit a 2023 Nissan Versa head-on.

Tragically, a passenger within the Nissan, 58-year-old Virginia Hill, died from her accidents.
