JONATHAN: FROM THE FIRST ALERT WEATHER CENTER, I AM METEOROLOGIST JONATHAN CONDER. MORE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS LIKELY THIS AFTERNOON, EVENING, AND TONIGHT, AND A WIDESPREAD THREAT OF SEVERE WEATHER. THE AREAS IN YELLOW MEAN A SLIGHT RISK. FLOODING WOULD BE THE HIGHEST THREAT SOUTH OF OKC DOWN NEAR PAULS VALLEY. THEY’VE ALREADY PICKED UP A LOT OF RAIN. PING-PONG BALL SIZE HAIL POSSIBLE AS SOME STORMS REDEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON. WIND OF 60 TO 65 MILE PER HOUR AND A LOW TO MEDIUM TORNADO THREAT. IN THE WAKE OF THE MORNING STORMS, HIGHS WILL BE IN THE 70’S WITH A CLOUDY SKY. THE RAIN FOOTPRINT FOR THE LATE MORNING, EARLY AFTERNOON SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS LIKELY IN SOUTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA. INTO THE AFTERNOON, ONGOING RAIN IN SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA AND THAT COULD IMPACT WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE REST OF THE STATE. SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS MAY BUBBLE UP. TONIGHT, WE ARE EXPECTING A LINE OF STORMS TO DEVELOP, COLD FRONT COMES THROUGH, AND THAT WILL BE OUR HIGHEST CHANCE OF STORMS AND THE RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER.
