PAULS VALLEY, Okla. (KFOR) – Crews in southern Oklahoma are assessing the harm after a doable twister touched down close to Pauls Valley as extreme storms moved via the state.
Officers with Garvin County Emergency Administration say seven or eight buildings have been broken by the storm, together with two or three houses within the space.
Because the storms intensified, Eddie Menefee informed KFOR that he began to turn into involved when the winds turned even stronger.
“The wind was blowing actual exhausting and it received louder and louder, and I informed my spouse to get on the ground,” stated Eddie Menefee, the home-owner. “She went on one aspect of the mattress, and I went on the opposite aspect of the mattress. About that point, the window broke. The lights went out and I began hollering for her, ‘let’s go examine on the boys.’ Bought our youngsters in there.”
