Norman points boil advisory for a part of metropolis

The Norman Public Water Authority has issued a precautionary boil advisory for areas north of Robinson and east of Flood. Water must be dropped at a full, rolling boil for at the very least one minute. Bottled water or water from acceptable sources for consumption are OK to drink. The advisory was issued due to the presence of E. coli within the water. The advisory solely applies to Norman Water Provide clients. These with non-public wells aren’t affected. The water system will notify clients when the water is as soon as once more protected.
