A 4.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded Tuesday afternoon in northwestern Oklahoma.The earthquake was 4 miles deep. In keeping with the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake was recorded at about 1:24 p.m. It was centered about 2 miles west, northwest of Shattuck, 31 miles west, southwest of Woodward and 146 miles west, northwest of Oklahoma Metropolis. The earthquake was beforehand rated as a 4.5. The USGS later downgraded it to a 4.1.
