Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon training runs to be held Saturday

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – It is time to limber up for the Oklahoma Metropolis Memorial Marathon.

The Run to Bear in mind will likely be held on Oct. 2 and Oct. 3.

Some Oklahomans, together with KFOR anchor Joleen Chaney, began preparing for the marathon with a Sundown Social Run, Friday night.

However there’s extra enjoyable and coaching available this Saturday with the next two runs:

7 a.m. Group Lengthy Run – begin Saturday morning with a future led by Bart Yasso, retired Runner’s World Chief Working Officer. Run a portion of the brand new course on this 5 mile run beginning and ending on the Oklahoma Metropolis Nationwide Memorial.

9 a.m. Youngsters Run Membership Youngsters begin their coaching journey for the in individual OKC Youngsters Marathon developing on October 2. Bart Yasso will educate the significance of correct coaching and lead a one mile run across the Reflecting Pool.
