Man drowns at Oklahoma lake trying to save teen

MCCURTAIN COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) – Authorities say a Texas man has died after drowning at an Oklahoma lake.

Round 1:15 p.m. on Sunday, emergency crews have been known as to Damaged Bow Lake in McCurtain County on a doable drowning.

Investigators say an 18-year-old was swimming in Damaged Bowl Lake and seemed to be struggling. At that time, 47-year-old Carlo Lomas, Sr. tried to swim out to assist him.

Nevertheless, he went beneath the water.

The 18-year-old tried to assist save Lomas, however then he began to go beneath the water as properly.

Each swimmers have been pulled out of the water by bystanders on the lake.

Sadly, Lomas was pronounced useless at an area hospital.
