Two brothers killed in boating accident on Lake Texoma

MARSHALL COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) – Troopers say two brothers had been killed in a boating accident on Lake Texoma this previous weekend.

Round 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, emergency crews had been known as to a boating accident on Lake Texoma between Wooden Island and Sanders Island View space.

Officers say a 1999 Falcon Striper boat was heading southeast on the lake when the steering malfunctioned, inflicting the boat to take a pointy left flip.

Because of this, the driving force and two passengers had been ejected from the boat.

Investigators say the boat started circling all three individuals, and really hit all three of them.

Officers say the 67-year-old driver was rescued by witnesses in one other boat.

Nonetheless, the 2 passengers couldn’t be saved.

Authorities say 80-year-old Devered Hines and 62-year-old Eddie Hines had been pronounced lifeless on the scene. Their our bodies had been recovered from the water by the Enos Hearth Division.
