OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – A highspeed police chase ended on the banks of the Oklahoma River Thursday afternoon after the suspect ditched his automobile and jumped within the water earlier than being taken into custody by officers.
Officers say the suspect obtained out of his automobile at SE twenty fifth and Robinson earlier than operating to the river at fifteenth and Robinson and leaping in.
The chase began close to NE twenty third and Coltrane when county deputies tried to tug him over and he initiated the pursuit. Speeds reached as much as 98 miles per hours.
