2 additional victims die from injuries sustained in Oklahoma crash

STEPHENS COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) – Authorities say two extra individuals have died from accidents they sustained in a crash final month.

Round 7:40 p.m. on June 17, troopers had been known as to a crash alongside U.S. 81, south of Duncan in Stephens County.

Investigators say a 2006 Mini Cooper, pushed by 20-year-old Kennedy Caldwell, and a 2002 Toyota Camry, pushed by 74-year-old Jerry Pardue, had been heading northbound.

Officers say Caldwell tried to move Pardue, however ended up hitting a 2005 Chevy Silverado, pushed by 50-year-old John Salazar.

At that time, Pardue’s automobile hit Caldwell’s automobile.

On the time of the crash, Caldwell and her passenger, 19-year-old Connor Slocum, had been pronounced lifeless on the scene.

Officers say Salazar handed away from his accidents on June 22, and Pardue died from his accidents on June 24.

The reason for the crash continues to be underneath investigation.
