Ida barrels toward Gulf Coast, could be the strongest hurricane to hit the region in over 150 years

“We can sum it up by saying this will be one of the strongest hurricanes to hit anywhere in Louisiana since at least the 1850s,” Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards said at a press conference Saturday.
