It’s all about the jet stream.  The upper ridge of high pressure we call the “Heat Dome” is still over Oklahoma and in control of our weather.  However, it’s a weaker version and with longer nights and less humidity temps are dropping off at night and into morning hours.  But it’s still rather hot with way above average temps during the afternoon.  Maybe some changes in this pattern next week as real Fall arrives!
