Oklahoma students spend two years raising money for fallen WWII soldiers

MILL CREEK, Okla. (KFOR) – Names of those that gave their lives for our nation are lastly etched in stone, due to a bunch of Mill Creek college students. However the story of the monument has an attention-grabbing starting.

“Nothing ever occurs in Mill Creek,” was the remark made by Mill Creek pupil, Brycen Allen, that began the 2 12 months journey.

The category held a ceremony with over 300 individuals in attendance, with relations of the fallen there from throughout america.

“There was a bunch of tears, however completely satisfied tears,” stated Brighton Lanier, a Mill Creek pupil within the class.

The category’ unique aim was to have the monument prepared by the point they graduated highschool. They achieved that aim early, by the point they graduated eighth grade.
