On Wednesday, Mercy introduced that workers will likely be required to obtain the COVID-19 vaccine, efficient Sept. 30.

Officers say the transfer comes because the delta variant spreads quickly in Missouri, the place Mercy has hospitals and clinics.

Authorities say nearly all of Mercy sufferers who had been not too long ago hospitalized with COVID-19 haven’t been vaccinated.
