Police are investigating after they stated a suspect shot a canine Saturday afternoon at a canine park in Norman. Authorities advised KOCO 5 that the suspect’s and the sufferer’s canines have been interacting with one another at a canine park close to East Robinson Road and twelfth Avenue Northeast when the sufferer’s canine turned aggressive. The suspect then pulled out a gun and shot the sufferer’s canine.Witnesses reported that it seemed like the 2 canines have been taking part in, in response to police.The sufferer took his canine to be handled. Police stated the canine’s situation is unknown.Police have requested an arrest warrant on complaints of reckless discharge and animal cruelty for the suspect.
