OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Police are investigating after two folks had been shot, one fatally, in Northwest Oklahoma Metropolis.
It occurred round 1 a.m. Saturday close to Northwest fiftieth and Classen.
Police say a struggle began within the space outdoors of Edna’s and spilled into the road.
“When officers arrived, they discovered two folks had been shot, a Hispanic male and a Hispanic feminine,” Capt. Arthur Gregory with the Oklahoma Metropolis Police Division stated.
The lady died on the scene. The person was shot as soon as within the leg and was rushed to the hospital in critical situation.
The suspect fled the scene.
“The one info now we have on the shooter proper now’s a Hispanic male that we consider left in a white newer mannequin van,” Gregory stated.
He says it began after an altercation.
“The one info now we have is a few sort of a struggle, altercation, broke out within the parking zone space and spilled out into Classen when the photographs had been fired,” Gregory stated.
Folks within the space say they’re shocked by what occurred.
“It sort of made my coronary heart race and it’s simply very, very unhappy that this could occur so near the place I’m simply having fun with a drink,” Mallory Inexperienced, who was within the space, stated. “It simply made my abdomen drop as a result of I understand how that feels. That was somebody’s beloved one, daughter; it’s simply heartbreaking.”
