OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – An Oklahoma Metropolis man died Saturday from accidents he suffered after crashing his bike right into a bridge embankment and falling all the way down to a street beneath.

The rider, recognized by Oklahoma Freeway Patrol as 40-year-old William Looper of Oklahoma Metropolis, was driving a 2000 Harley-Davidson east on Interstate 44.

Shortly after 1 p.m., Looper veered off the left aspect of the bridge, struck the barrier wall, was ejected over the wall and landed on Kelley Avenue, in accordance with a Freeway Patrol information launch.

The bike continued transferring east, went off the fitting aspect of the street and got here to a cease on the embankment, in accordance with the information launch.

No different autos had been concerned within the crash, an OHP official stated.

Looper was not carrying a helmet when the crash occurred, the information launch states.
