ERIN: STILL IN ACTIVE SCENE BEHIND ME. POLICE ARE TELLING US THIS WAS A DRIVE-BY SHOOTING. ONE MALE WAS HIT AND KILLED IN THE DRIVEWAY BEHIND ME. TWO OTHER PEOPLE WERE HIT, FEMALE AND A MALE. THEY WERE SENT TO A NEARBY HOSPITAL AND THEIR CONDITION IS UNKNOWN AT THIS TIME. POLICE TELL US THE SHOOTER OR SHOOTERS GOT AWAY, AND THY DON’T HAVE ANY SUSPECT DESCRIPTIONS AT THIS TIME ASIDE FROM THE VEHICLE THEY WERE DRIVING. JUST A DARK-COLORED SUV. >> ANYBODY THAT SAW OR HEARD ANYTHING, WE DO ASK THE PUBLIC IF YOU HAVE VIDEO OR SAW OR HEARD SOMETHING OR HAVE INFORMATION, TO PLEASE CALL DISPATCHERS. ERIN: POLICE DON’T HAVE ANY MOTIVE. THEY DON’T KNOW WHY THESE PEOPLE WERE SHOT AT. THEY DON’T EVEN KNOW IF THEY ARE CONNECTED AT THIS TIME. WHILE I WAS SPEAKING TO NEIGHBORS, A LOT OF THEM KEPT TELLING ME THE PEOPLE THAT STAY AT THIS HOUSE, A LOT OF THEM ARE VERY YOUNG. THEY SAY THEY SEE TEENAGERS PLAYING BASKETBALL A LOT. WE ARE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THE AGES AND WHO THE VICTIMS ARE. POLICE WILL UPDATE US WITH THE NAMES AND AGES AS THEIR INVESTIGATION CONTINUES. WE WILL BRING THOSE DETAILS AS SOON AS WE GET THEM.

The capturing was reported at about 2:45 p.m. close to Briarlane Street and Delmar Street, close to Southeast fifteenth Avenue and Bryant Avenue, based on Del Metropolis police. Based on police, a male sufferer died and two others had been injured. The 2 injured victims’ circumstances are unclear right now. Police mentioned the shooter left the scene in a dark-colored SUV.
